Soul Revival 2007 was held at Anne and Edmund Redd’s Garden District home. No other fundraiser invites you to come as you are, eat down home Southern cooking, and listen to soul, blues, and rock and roll under one huge tent. On March 10th, that is exactly what over 700 people did - all in the celebration of life!
The evening began with the inspiring music of Tyronne Foster and the Arc Singers, whose spirituals and gospel tunes filled the tent with soulful energy. Hot Rod Lincoln then kicked things up a notch, and Luv Sexy got everyone out on the dance floor to rock and roll.
Each of us has the ability to save someone’s life by becoming an organ, eye and tissue donor. The funds raised during Soul Revival support awareness and education programs that aim to reduce the number of Louisianans who die waiting for an organ transplant. Organ donation is not a search for a cure – it is the cure.
